A therapeutic yoga class to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support spinal health

This gentle, floor-based class is designed to help alleviate back discomfort, improve posture, and restore balanced movement through targeted yoga therapy techniques. Drawing on principles of functional anatomy, each session includes breath-focused stretches, mindful mobility exercises, and gentle core engagement to address common contributors to spinal tension and imbalance.

Through sustained, accessible poses (typically held for 5–10 breaths), we work to release tight hips, hamstrings, and shoulders, while activating the stabilizing muscles of the core, glutes, and back. The sequence is intentionally low-impact and primarily performed on the floor to reduce unnecessary strain, decompress the spine, and support nervous system regulation.

Whether you’re managing chronic back pain, recovering from injury, or hoping to prevent future discomfort, this class offers a supportive and effective path toward long-term back health. It may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement with a provider recommendation for addressing back pain, spinal dysfunction, or related musculoskeletal concerns.
