Active Lower Leg Strength & Mobility
This short, active practice strengthens the feet, ankles, and hips while improving mobility through the calves and Achilles. Many people rely heavily on their calves while the muscles that stabilize the foot and support the front of the lower leg remain underused. Over time this imbalance can contribute to tight calves, fatigued lower legs, or discomfort along the shin.
The sequence focuses on activating the feet, strengthening the hips, and improving ankle mobility so the body can distribute load more evenly through the lower body. It can be especially helpful for those who experience tight lower legs from walking, standing for long periods, or recurring inner-shin discomfort sometimes associated with Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome.
